Dancing affects everyday life by making us smile, providing exercise, improving posture, bringing out confidence, improving balance, releasing stress by increasing happiness, increases flexibility and just providing people with a temporary escape. This escape allows people to experience some “me” time to get in touch with their mind, body and spirit. Also, if you learn different types of dance it opens you up to different lifestyles and cultures.
Early Childhood Dancers: Dancers that start at an early age have exceeded in physical development, interaction, cooperation, social skills and emotional development helping them become aware of themselves through movements. Children learn how to behave in a functioning world because it helps give them structure. Communication is developed through listening, implementing and asking questions.
